Real-Time Yard Visibility
Where each trailer actually is, how long it has been there, and whether that is where it was sent.
A yard is usually the least visible part of a site. Chockpoint turns it into a screen: six marked areas — the gate, the dock apron, staging, parking, hazardous standing and the exit lane — and the trailers in each of them.
Vehicle and trailer status
Every trailer on site carries its state: expected, checked in, standing in a named spot, on a door, or departed. The board shows which, alongside the door or spot it occupies.
Where drivers actually are
The driver’s own phone can report its position, and the yard answers with the zone they are standing in. A driver who has gone to the wrong place shows up on a screen rather than over the radio, and the driver is told where to go instead.
A yard is a poor place for a phone signal — steel walls, parked trailers. A missing position means “we do not know”, never “they are not here”, and the screen says so.
Waiting time and bottlenecks
Because check-in, spot assignment and release all go through one record, how long a trailer has been standing is a fact rather than an estimate. That is usually the first number that shows where a site is actually losing time.
- How many trailers are standing, and for how long
- Which door kind the queue is waiting on
- Which doors are idle while trailers wait
- Positions kept as a track, so a dispute about where a trailer stood has an answer

Tell me about your gate and I will show you the system running against realistic data — not a demo reel. If it is not a fit I will say so.
